Training with bone health in mind.

Osteoblasts is a 12-week, small-group program for women with osteopenia or osteoporosis who want to build strength, gain confidence with lifting, and stay active as they age. Led by Doctors of Physical Therapy, classes meet three times per week for one hour, combining individualized strength and impact training with a mix of aerobic and balance work.

You’ll learn foundational movements including deadlifts, back squats, pull-ups, and bench presses with variations and resistance matched to your current abilities and preferences. Impact activities are introduced at an appropriate starting level and progressed as your abilities grow. The program draws in part from the strength and impact-training principles studied in the LIFTMOR trials.

Training also includes group games, partner workouts, and walking or rucking (walking with a weighted pack) to keep sessions varied, social, and connected to everyday movement. Along the way, we’ll discuss nutrition, sleep, recovery, and healthy aging to help you build habits that support your work in the gym.

Whether you’re new to lifting or ready for a greater challenge, Osteoblasts provides coaching, community, and a foundation for continued training beyond the 12 weeks.

Program Pricing
$360 for the full 12-week program—36 one-hour classes at $10 per class.

Build confidence. Improve balance. Keep moving.

Fear of falling shouldn’t decide how you spend your day. Fear No Falls is a supportive, small-group program at SHIFT Peak Performance designed to help you feel more confident moving through your home and community.

Led by Doctors of Physical Therapy, this program combines exercise, practical education, and group discussion informed by fall-prevention research. You’ll learn strategies for managing fall concerns, practice strength and balance exercises, and build skills to support everyday activity.

What we’ll cover:

  • Strength and balance: Exercises adapted to your current abilities, with ways to continue practicing at home.

  • A safer home: Practical changes to lighting, furniture placement, and other environmental factors that can contribute to falls.

  • Fall recovery: Strategies for responding to a fall, calling for help, and practicing getting down to and up from the floor as appropriate for your abilities.

  • Everyday confidence: Recognizing potential hazards and making a plan to stay active.

  • Knowing when to seek help: When concerns about falls or balance warrant medical attention, an individualized physical therapy evaluation, or additional training.

  • Community connections: Resources and opportunities to keep moving and stay connected beyond the program.

You’ll progress alongside the same group throughout the program, sharing experiences, encouragement, and practical solutions.

Build strength, power, and confidence. Then bring that momentum in-season.

Your off-season is an opportunity to build beyond your sport. Strong AF (Athletic Foundations) is a small-group athletic development program at SHIFT Peak Performance designed to help youth athletes expand their movement skills, build resilience, and prepare for the demands of their sport(s).

Led by a Doctor of Physical Therapy, this six-week program blends strength and power training with coordination challenges, mobility work, and competitive games. Athletes will explore movements outside their usual sport routines while building a foundation for moving with force, speed, and control.

What we’ll work on:

  • Strength and power: Build a foundation for producing force through whole-body strength training, jumping, throwing, and fast movements.

  • Coordination and control: Practice accelerating, slowing down, landing, and changing direction through drills and games.

  • Movement variety: Explore new skills and movement patterns that complement the repetitive demands of your primary sport.

  • Mobility and recovery: Develop practical warm-up, mobility, and recovery routines to use during training and competition.

  • Self-management: Learn general strategies for adjusting training around soreness or familiar limitations, and recognizing when an injury needs individual evaluation.

  • Mindset and confidence: Practice setting goals, responding to challenges, and approaching unfamiliar movements with confidence.

Expect purposeful training with room for friendly competition, partner challenges, and fun. Small groups allow coaching and exercise adjustments based on each athlete’s abilities, preferences, and goals.

Program schedule: Twice weekly for six weeks—12 sessions total.

Program cost: $150 per athlete
Includes all 12 sessions and ongoing online access to a Doctor of Physical Therapy for general training questions and guidance as you transition into preseason and in-season activity.
